Connecting Rutube

Postmypost allows you to publish videos directly to Rutube, scheduling them to go live at a convenient time.

What is needed for connection?​

To connect a Rutube account to Postmypost, you need to have an active account on the platform.

Connecting to Postmypost​

  1. In Postmypost, go to the "Accounts" section and click "Connect".

  2. In the window with the list of social networks, select Rutube and click "Connect".

  3. Enter your Rutube Email and password.

    This is a secure connection.
    Postmypost uses the official Rutube API, published on GitHub, and does not save your credentials. After entering your Email and password, the service receives a token that is stored in our database.

    If you do not have an Email linked to your Rutube account, you need to go to your Rutube account settings, specify an Email, confirm it, and then connect to Postmypost via Email.

  4. After a successful connection, you will automatically return to Postmypost, where you can select the desired channel and confirm the connection.

  5. Done! Rutube is now connected.
